20+ bible study

The 20+ Bible study group meets fortnightly in the home of Stuart and Pauline Cordiner. The group comprises a mix of students, singles and couples and ages range from 20 to early 30s.

 

During the year there is a mixture of bible studies with group discussion, praise, prayer, guest speakers and social events including Sunday lunches, evening socials and outings.

 

The group usually follows a bible study book and has used both the “Lifebuilder” series and material from Willow Creek Ministries. The evening usually takes the following form:

- A short time of praise
- A discussion on the bible passage in small groups of around 5 people with everyone having prepared by answering the set questions in advance
- A prayer time with an opportunity to share prayer requests in the smaller groups
- A time of food and fellowship with the group as a whole.
