Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young,
but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12
This upper-Secondary-age girls’ discipleship group meets fortnightly during term time and offers girls an opportunity to study and discuss God’s Word, pray, worship, build friendships and generally enjoy time together with a group of their peers.
In studying the Bible for themselves, the girls will hopefully gain not only a better understanding of God’s instruction to us, but will grow in their relationship and walk with God.
Learning about the true relevance of God Himself and His Word to their 21st century lives is key, as is ongoing encouragement and challenge to keep going and growing in their faith and live out daily Spirit-filled lives that reflect what God is teaching them, through Bible Babes, Youth Fellowship, Sunday sermons, in their home life and through personal quiet time.
Some of the topics we have studied include:
- Women of the Old & New Testament
- The Sermon on the Mount
- Relationships
- The Biblical Meaning of Beauty
- The Gospel Message and Evangelism
- The Parables
Each session ends with a time of enjoying some food and relaxed fellowship, and social evenings are a regular part of Bible Babes. We also have a fabulous Weekend Away at the Compass Centre in Glenshee in June - a great way to celebrate end of exams! There is Bible teaching and all kinds of fun and activities, and generally a good time of being together.
We would be delighted to have you join us at Bible Babes!
