holiday bible club

The annual Holiday Bible Club week is always a highlight in the church’s calendar. Children from the church and surrounding community are invited to register for 5 days of fun, fun, fun!! In recent years attendance has been around the 100 mark with around up to 50 leaders and helpers. The children are split into 2 groups - Juniors (P1-4) and Seniors (P5-7), meeting in the church and adjacent community centre.

 

Daily activities include:

 

Crafts, Singing, Talk-time, Games, Drama, Snack-time

 

All teaching is Bible based and aims to be presented in a lively, relevant and memorable way through all the activities which take place.

 

This exciting week finishes with a special Family Worship Service on the Sunday morning which has a distinctive HBC flavour to it and gives the children and leaders an opportunity to share what the week has meant to them with the rest of the congregation. The service is followed by a BBQ in the church car park open to all children, parents and church congregation. Plans for next years HBC have already started and the event will be publicized community-wide nearer the time.
