care team

Caring for one another is an important part of church life. Here at DCFC, one of our aims is to live out the reality of being a caring community of God’s people. Our home group network give support to the pastoral team in this area trying to ensure pastoral care of members within a small group context.

 

In addition to this, we also have a Care Team network of over 20 folks who make themselves available to help out with practical needs which might arise from time to time. These would include such things as:

 

- Hospital Visitation
- Meals to families in need
- Sending out of cards to folks
- Home visits
- Ironing
- Gardening
- Reading over foreign students’ assignments
- Nursing home visitation
- Basic decorating
- Taxi service - for folks needing lifts
