celebration group

God loves all His people. Everyone in the church is valued and has a contribution to make to God’s family.

 

This group, led by a dedicated team, caters for the needs of people with disabilities and enables them to hear the gospel in ways that are relevant to them. The group started in late 2004 and has been increasing in number since and currently has nine members.

 

Those who attend the group had these comments about what they like about the Celebration Group; ‘good fun,’ ‘meeting new friends,’ ‘enjoy singing & playing musical instruments’, ‘the leaders who give up their time to prepare for Celebration Group,’ ‘bible stories,’ and ‘drawing’ and one young man said ‘I like coming to Celebrations because I love listening to the stories from the Bible.’

 

The group meets during the second half of the 11:30am Service, enabling those attending to participate during the first part of the Service on a Sunday morning. New members will always be made very welcome as we seek to share the love of God.
