girls discipleship group

The Girls’ Discipleship Group meets fortnightly during term time throughout the year and offers girls aged 14-18 an opportunity to come together to study and discuss God’s word with a group of their peers. In studying the Bible for themselves, the girls gain not only a better understanding of God’s instruction to us, but hopefully also a keener interest in applying it to their lives and living it out.

 

Some of the topics we have studies include:

 

- Women of the Old Testament
- The Sermon on the Mount
- Relationships
- Evangelism
- The Parables

 

Building friendships and having fun are also important to our group and we end each session with a time of relaxed fellowship (and, of course, food!). Social evenings generally take place too, once or twice a term, and sometimes we invite the girls’ mums to join us.
