events in the Oldmeldrum area

A number of Christians living in the Oldmeldrum / Inverurie / Old Rayne area are members of Deeside Christian Fellowship Church. They (along with Christians from other churches) meet regularly for prayer, Bible study, fellowship and evangelism.

 

Regular local events include:

 

- “Christian Focus”
- Oldmeldrum & District Bible Study
- Christmas Carol Service
- Thainstone Kids Club

 

In addition, a number of other events are organised by Deeside members in the area:

 

- “Carols in the Barn”
- Easter Celebrations
- “Inspirations” Coffee Mornings
- Scripture Union meetings in local schools

 

The “Christian Focus” meetings are evening services held on the second Sunday of each month in the Town Hall, Oldmeldrum at 6:30pm. The theme for 2005 is “Christ in the Old Testament” and a range of speakers will be focusing on different passages with something to teach on this topic. Tea and coffee are available after the service to aid a time of fellowship.
