playgroup

The Playgroup/Rising 5’s aim to provide a warm, safe and secure environment where pre-school children can learn to express themselves. We encourage the children in the development of social and interactive skills through creative play, crafts, music and stories.

 

Playgroup sessions are held four mornings a week and children may join from the age of 2years 10 months.

 

Rising 5’s operates for 1 session per week, currently Monday afternoon, and is offered to children in their pre-school year.

 

A charge is made of £3.50 per session for both groups.

 

All sessions are held in purpose built playgroup rooms, with two Play leaders at each session helped by parents/carers on a duty rota.

 

The playgroup is registered with the Care Commission and subject to an annual inspection by them.
